Don't be confused.  Chestatee Wildlife Preserve is NOT the original North Georgia Zoo.  They have recently tagged their zoo as a Zoo in North Georgia or a North Georgia Zoo but they are actually Chestatee Wildlife Preserve.  We encourage people who love animals to visit as many places with animals as possible such as Zoo Atlanta,  Bear Park,  Georgia Aquarium,  Deer Park,  Kangaroo Conservation Center,  Petite Creek Farm, HillCrest Orchird and more but we don't want to see you get lost so to get to us not Chestatee Wildlife Preserve please follow our directions.  Go past the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve signs that say ZOO only on them and North Georgia Zoo.. Go straight through the intersection.  Look for our GREEN signs.. Follow the Green signs so that you do not accidently go to Chestatee Wildlife Preserve.   We are only 15 minutes away from each other and could visit both Zoos in one day.   just remember we are the My Favorite Zoo.   Let us be your Favorite Zoo and tell people about our website which is www. my favorite zoo . com.   Lets vote for The original North Georgia Zoo as the Favorite Zoo in georgia,  north georgia.   My Favortie Zoo!!
