TELL ME MORE!
The idea birthed from I (Hope) and my 11 month old daughter Gloriella checking on the animals in the evening and seeing amazing sunsets and thinking wow wouldn't others just love this. So I decided just that, why not offer sunset tours! For me personally I love walking the zoo in the evening when it is coolor and the colors are beautiful! We were even able to witness a rainbow and sunset one night! I began to take notice how often the colors stayed vibrant and I was amazed that virtually every night we had different shades of color and even after the rain their was a beautiful misty haze. Now their were some dark cloud nights but even then just the coolness and clouds and sky were still breathtaking. But since we know the weather can be unpredicatable and you just never know what suprises the sky may bring us I started to think about how we could make this a totally amazing experience no matter what. That is when the entire idea came together. Why not offer this time for pictures with baby animals, interaction with a few select exotic animals under the sky as it changes colors and provide refreshments and drinks. I know for me this was a picture of my ideal night! So here I am offering this to others to see if they like it as much as Gloriella, Tom and I do! (and Melissa who is in many of the above pictures who will also be one of your tour guides!)
NOTE ON PICTURES ABOVE: These pictures were taken over the course of a month! These pictures have not been edited or changed! These are the true colors that we have gotten to experience while caring for the animals here at the zoo.
