Candice "Candi" LaPointe Memorial Fund

Candice “Candi” LaPointe was a dedicated and adored volunteer of the park. She had a heart for animals, a heart for people, and a heart for Jesus. And, well, she fit right in here with us! Our mission is to bring people and animals together to glorify God, leaving no life untouched. She exemplified that through her dedication to come and share the animals with people. She brought a connection to people with the animals in a special way and we are grateful for the time we had with her as a loyal partner and friend in our mission. She loved and knew Jesus well, so we know there is a celebration in heaven right now! We are celebrating with her!

It was Candi’s desire to not have flowers given, but in lieu, to have donations given to the zoo. We are honored to receive such a gracious gift.

The contributions will go toward a memorial bench in one of her favorite places in the petting farm. Any additional funds will go toward the farm animal and guardian dog interactive educational display for children that Candice and Hope, the park director, dreamed about doing one day together.

Thank you for taking the time to remember and honor Candice!
