What to know before your animal experience

Animal Experiences
  • General Experience Admission is required for all experiences
  • Taxes and fees apply when purchasing tickets. Charges on your receipt & bank statement will show from Wildlife Wonders.
  • ​Ticket bookings are not available online on the day of the activity. You may purchase tickets at the ticket booth upon arrival for same-day tickets if there is availability.
  • There may be other participants on your experience, unless you have booked a private experience through our office
  • ​Experiences are for ages 8 and up or 12 and up depending on experience. Adults must accompany children under 12 years old with paying ticket. For children under 8 years old, check out our add-on experiences while purchasing Park Admission. 
  • Those wanting to view/ attend but not participate: This is only available for the Otter and Splash Experiences. Viewing areas will be outside of habitats and may be behind fences. Tickets are 50% of the experience price. You will learn natural history, watch training behaviors and, of course, observe your loved one(s) interacting.
  • Please reserve experiences ahead of time to ensure your spot.
  • Space is limited to 4-10 people per experience.
  • ​We are committed to making your experience a fun and safe experience for you and our animals. To help us better serve you, please notify us of any illnesses, limitations or disabilities
  • Please be aware some of the Animal Experiences are seasonal and only available for certain times of the year.
  • Bookings are non-refundable. ​​


We post our Experience schedule 1-2 Months in advance. If you are looking to book later than that, please check back closer to the date. ​​
NOTICE! The time of an animal experience may need to be adjusted or delayed when an animal has become overstimulated or needs rest or playtime. If you schedule an experience, please be patient. Animals do not understand human schedules. Due to an animal’s age or its temperament at the time of an experience, we cannot guarantee that on any experience you will be able to hold the animal. With patience, we will give you the best experience possible and assure the well-being of our animals. For the Safety of the guest and animals all guest will have to sanitize before and after each experience.

Reservations are recommended.  Experiences are based on staff and animal availability.
All activities may not be available every day we are open.


** We reserve the right at any time to deny animal encounter privileges to participants that are not able to listen and obey the guidelines or are posing a threat to themselves, the animal or to others.**

  • Cancellation Policy: Bookings are non-refundable. Should you be unable to attend your scheduled activity, please contact our booking office at 706-348-7279 to reschedule. Activities may be rescheduled within 6 months of original booking date. Failure to reschedule an activity a minimum of 72 hours beforehand will result in cancellation without refund or may incur rescheduling fees.

Dress Code for all Experiences
  • Please wear long pants (only applies to Baby Capybara, Otter, Feline, Penguin, Shadow a keeper. *Ankles and feet need to be fully covered (no exposed skin)
  • Closed toed shoes (tennis shoes or boots)
  • No jewelry, watches or bracelets
  • No loose clothing
  • No strong perfume / cologne
  • Leave tobacco products in vehicle
  • Long hair tied up
  • No Selfie Sticks
  • All Splash experiences-Torso area must me covered
**Wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty
