Shadow a Zookeeper!

Spend the day shadowing a zookeeper.
Meet some amazing animals while learning about zoo keeping
*Attendee will receive a Wildlife Wonders t-shirt.
*Please bring your own lunch and drink with you.
*We ask that you wear comfortable close toed shoes, long pants and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
 *We also ask that you bring a water bottle to have with you throughout the day.

All proceeds go toward the animals and continuing our mission to Care, Connect, and Conserve!
Level 1 Keeper Shadowing

Weekdays/Non-Holiday: $225 for half day or $425 for full day

Weekends, Holidays, Peak Season: $450 for half day or
​$850 for full day

Must be 9 years or older
Full day is 10 am-4 pm, Half day is 10 am-1 pm.
The person shadowing will get a chance to experience assisting with feeding, cleaning, training and hands on experience with a variety of animals from livestock, armadillos, porcupines, kangaroos, birds, reptiles and more. They will get to see animals such as water buffalo, zebra, Fennec fox's, camel and more.

Add on a zoo buddy for $125 (Weekdays) or $250 (Weekends, Peak season & holidays)
*required for ages 9-11. This is a staff member to stay with your child for the day

Level 2 Keeper Shadowing

Must be 12 years or older
Full day is 10 am-4 pm, Half day is 10 am-1 pm.
​Cannot be done without level 1 being done first. Level 2 introduces the carnivores including the wolves and wildcats. Here, the person shadowing will get a chance to interact with a lynx, several cat or wolf. The primates are also introduced at this level and this includes a monkey or bush-baby plus others. Level 2 includes other interactive animal training as well.

​We ideally like to encourage both days as a package as it really takes a full 2 days to experience/shadow all aspects of the zoo!
