Field Trip Prices & Packages:
15 person minimum for groups Prices are $2 more for any person paying separately from the group. These prices are an introductory offering for schools, churches, camps and other non-profits for weekday programs only. These are a huge savings compared to normal guest rates. *Not available on holidays/during holiday hours

Field Trip Activity Option Descriptions
Petting Farm :A collection of adorable friendly farm-type animals. This is appropriate for all ages, so it is included in all the packages below. It is also our gathering area for the Wildlife Walk (Zoo Tour), Presentations, and Hayrides. Each child will receive one animal feed bag for the petting farm. **Feed does contain peanut allergens. Please let us know in advance in anyone in your group has a peanut allergy. ** Wagon Rides Our hayride winds through our Drive Thru Safari Park past our Water Buffalos, Camels, exotic birds, zebras, capybaras and other exotic and hoof-stock animals not seen at the Petting Farm or Wildlife Park. Hayrides can carry 20-30 people ( depending on age/size of children) and generally last 20-30 min. Zippity Zoo Presentation 30 minutes 3-4 animals. Great for all ages including preschool. These programs are geared toward the age of the students involved. Programs are a hands-on experience! **Great option for Preschools and groups that don't have time for a full Wildlife Walk but want an economical way to see something in addition to the Petting Farm. Animals may include but not limited to: Hedgehog, Chinchilla, Armadillo, Snake, Baby Alligator, Lizard, Giant Frog, Etc... **For an additional fee these program can be upgraded to 45-60 minute programs with 7-8 animals as outlined in our ZOO TO YOU PROGRAMS customized to fit a theme or upgraded to a " more impressive" group of animals such as: Monkey, Kangaroo, Hawk, Parrot, Lemur, Wolf, Etc... these animals are usually seen on the Wildlife Walk but can be done as a presentation if it better serves your group needs. Prices will vary depending on the animal and staff required. Zoo Tours (Wildlife Walks) This is a walking tour of our exotic animal area. One of our tour guides will take you on an personalized educational visit to see animals such as: our Wolves, New Guinea Singing Dogs, Serval Cats, African Porcupines, Wallabies, Red Kangaroos, Hawks, Lemurs, Foxes, Sloths and others. This walk follows along a gravel road with mulched paths and boardwalks with stairs. 30 min. |
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:For field trip weekday group rates the prices are per person, with no distinction between child or adult pricing. Prices are $2 more for any person paying separately from the group.
Groups larger than 25 people will generally need to be split up to do different activities at the same time. For larger groups, parents may not be able attend or participate in all activities. If you arrive late, your schedule time will still end at the same time. We have the right to shorten or alter the schedule as needed We have seating at picnic tables (some in the shade, some not depending on the time of day) for about 40 kids. Of course if you bring blankets those can be put down for larger groups. Lunch times may be added to your activity rotation to accommodate use of space. We have bathroom facilities and a clean port-o-john available for guests. We require one chaperone for every 10 kids All of our activities are outdoors, so in case of inclement weather management may need to reschedule your event. For the packages above you will generally need to allow 1.5-2 hours here on site. If you are on a tight schedule or want to extend things let us know so we can plan accordingly. Call or check our Special Events and Seasonal Activities available (like bouncing baby Spring bottle feeding. Fall Pumpkin patch, holiday Nativity scene, Etc.) If you have sales tax exemption, then please provide us with the appropriate paperwork. Any Tax exempt organization will need to pay the remainder at the gate with 1 check from the Organization** We are trying to figure out what works best so your feedback is welcome to help serve you better in the future.
