NGZ stands on God as Creator and the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.  Owners,  Hope and Tom hope that the below will be instilled and have an opportunity to be shared here at North Georgia Zoo.  While we do no push our stance on visitors, we always enjoy a chance to share.   That is why we offer specialized programs and tours  for those wanting to incorporate the  faith aspect with the zoo aspect

Church Groups & Sunday School Groups:
 if you have more then 15 in your group,  you can use the ZOO EASY price guide for discounted tickets.  Looking for a creative way to teach your Sunday School lesson?  Why not bring your class out here for some hands on applicable life teachings?  We are always happy to work with groups and get creative with you.

Bring together your group with one of our customized team building programs 
Volunteer with us for the day and gain valuable experience on giving back to God's creation.   For volunteer groups we offer incentives such as discounted tours.

For Families We offer Creation Encounter Camp (zookeeper camp) for both kids and teens!  We also offer a variety of fun events and activities that families will enjoy together.   
We offer a variety of programs that are age appropriate including:  What was Noah's Ark like?  Why am I special?  The Bible says what?  All God's Creatures tours and programs.  When asked to do All God's Creation programs,  we will happily do so and always love sharing our God as our Creator.    
  • Hope and Tom Bennett,  along with several of the other staff have backgrounds in youth ministry, bible studies and Christian outdoor education.  This allows us to bring together the teachings of the Bible and zoology in a fun and educational way.   Hope is also a mom of two beautiful children so understands the importance of making sure the lessons and teachings are age appropriate fun and interactive.   Tom graduated with a biology teaching degree and enjoys doing the more in depth studies for high school and collage age.    
  • We also have scripture verses that are applicable around the zoo to help point to our Creator and help visitors apply what they are learning and experiencing here at the zoo to their daily walk.
  • Part of our purpose statement is also to simply provide a place to bring families and friends together.  In a busy and hectic culture,  family and relationships can be pushed aside.  We hope that by opening our doors,  that people will come and not only enjoy and learn about God's creation but will create everlasting memories of their time spent here with family and friends.
GOD Values His Creation and His people

  • And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.  Genesis 1:24
