North Georgia Wildlife Park has sustained some storm damages and is now out of power.

We are working diligently to get this cleaned up. Some enclosures and fences were damaged, but all animals are safe. We are in the process of setting the generators up. These will help keep the freezers going so we don’t incur large losses of supplies.   We are also working to get the nursery generator and prep area generator going to help with diet and animal care. If the zoo does not gain power back within 24 hours we will be needing to access more generators, since many animals will need additional heat. With several meters and electrical access points on the park, it is rare to have a total zoo power outage. The last one was during hurricane Irma.
If you know anyone who is willing to donate their time to help today please contact us. Hope@wildlifewonders.org or info@wildlifewonders.org we will also be posting on our social media asking any locals for assistance with getting the trees that have fallen cut up and removed.
