The “Ultimate Monkey & Friends” Experience is now available at the North Georgia Wildlife Park. It had been put on hold due to COVID-19, but now it’s back, complete with required safety precautions, including social distancing, masks, and smaller groups.
Get an up close and hands on experience with some monkeys and their cousins!

This may include any of the following:  Meet Mattie, our Gibbon Ape.  Check out her long fingers when she reaches out to get her favorite treat right out of your hand! Experience the dynamic friendship between her and her best friend, the basset hound Bubbles. The lemurs like to “move it move it” with our guests and may want to pose in your lap or take treats from your hand. Learn about and experience one of the smartest true monkeys- the Capuchin monkey. Watch one open a bottle, figure out a puzzle or paint! The nocturnal bushbaby likes to leap and take treats or may want to pose and listen to the sounds around you.  For a limited time, you will also be able to meet our young lemur Ruby!

(Note - This is not an exclusive or inclusive list of interaction. No animal is guaranteed. Also, Monkey & friends experiences will be modified for guests under the age of 13 to ensure they are suitable and safe for all participants. This is done at the discretion of the lead animal handler.)

The “Monkey & Friends” Experience:
Includes  3-6 animals Takes approximately 45 minutes.   Please reserve ahead of time to ensure your spot.  Space is limited to six people per experience. Reservations are required.$150 per person (Price includes park admission and a tee shirt. Taxes and fees apply when purchasing tickets online.)

Thank you for bringing this center and these lovely, generous people to our attention. Hopefully this will bring them additional support, both financial and emotional.Every animal needs to be taken good care of, given food, shelter and veterinary care, this way humans show commitment towards animals.

It’s likely some combination of the two, but their intelligence not only makes them curious companions; they’re camera-friendly ones.

Most monkeys survive of a diet of fruit, leaves, nuts, berries, eggs, insects and they occasionally hunt other smaller animals.

I like that you talked about how lemurs would love to show their moves to guests and even take treats from your hand. I would like my son and his friends to experience that on his birthday this month which is zoo-themed. So it would be great if I can find a mobile petting zoo for parties to hire to complete the experience for the kids.
